<br />TOWN OF TECUMSEH <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING <br />PROPOSED PLAN OF SUBDIVISION APPROVAL AND ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT <br /> <br />TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh will hold <br />a public meeting on Tuesday, June 2STH, 2005 at 6:00 ~~'lin the Town ~unicipal Office at 917 <br />Lesperance Road to consider a proposed draft plan of subdlvlslOn (MMAH FIle No. 37-T-05004) and <br />corresponding zoning by-law amendment pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. <br /> <br />The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing has received Application No. 37-T- <br />05004 for the approval of a draft plan of subdivision on Part of Gore Lot, West of Pike Creek Concession, <br />situated at the north-east corner of the County Road 19 (Manning Road) and Riverside Drive intersection <br />(see Key Map below for location) and having a total land area of 9 acres. The application proposes the <br />introduction of a new east-west road dissecting the interior of the lands with access to Riverside Drive <br />that would provide for two tiers of north-south lots that would front towards the new road through the <br />creation of21 single unit lots on full services. Details with respect to the subdivision, including road and <br />lotting patterns and the location of park land will be presented at the public meeting. <br /> <br />A corresponding Zoning By-law amendment proposes to make changes to some of the <br />existing zone regulations affecting the property t take into account the draft plan of subdivisions filed with <br />the Ministry. More specifically, revisions are proposed to be made to the minimum lot depth, frontage <br />and front yard requirements. The south portion of the subject land will continue to be zoned "Holding <br />Residential Type One (H) Rl-2 Zone" and the north portion will continue to be zoned "Holding <br />Residential Type One (H)RI-3 Zone".
