P~,bi;~ CDUr~cil ~ <br />. ~ OCY t 9 2909 <br />TOWN OF TECUMSEH <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETIN <br />PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAIN AME DMENt <br />TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the rporation of the Town of <br />Tecumseh will hold a public meeting Tuesday, October 1 th, 2009 at 6130 p.m. in the <br />Town Municipal Office at 917 Lesperance Road to consid r a proposed Zoning By-law <br />amendment pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act .S.O: 1990. <br />The purpose of the proposed amendmen is to change the zoning <br />.pertaining to a 0.58 hectare (1.45 acre) property situated o the northwest corner of the <br />Sylvestre Drive/Manning Road intersection and known loc Ily as'13480 Sylvestre Drive <br />(see Key Map below for location) from "Industrial Zone (M1 " to a site specific "Business <br />Park Zone (BP-2)". <br />The Sandwich South Official Plan designat s the land "Business Park", <br />which encourages a variety of light industrial uses and co mercial activities that can. be <br />appropriately integrated with the existing and propose .development pattern. In <br />addition, the policies permitYetail activities that are space- xtensive and. normaltyiocate <br />outside of conventional commercial areas and which requi a easy access to the arterial <br />road network. The proposed BP-2 zoning will allow for th full range of uses permitted <br />by the BP Zone irr addition to permitting the sales, rental an service of construction and <br />home repair equipment. <br />ANY PERSON may attend the public mee ing and/or make written or <br />verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law <br />amendment. <br />If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision. of the Town of <br />Tecumseh in respect of the proposed Zoning By-law am ndmeht does not make ofal <br />submissions at a public meeting or make written submissio s fo the.
