Town of LaSalle, March 28, 2003 Re: Emerald Ash Borer <br /> <br />Observation: The Town of LaSalle requests Council's support to their March 25, 2003 <br />resolution petitioning the Provincial and Federal governments to dedicate resources to assure <br />that the public is being properly educated, and initiatives by the Provincial and Federal <br />governments to assure that a "fire wall" is established at the boundary between the infested <br />municipalities and the rest of the Province of Ontario, to contain the blight of the Emerald <br />Ash Borer, and to ensure that it does not spread beyond the boundaries currently identified.:. <br /> <br />12. Haldimand County, March 18,2003 Re: Municipal Septaf!e Stratef!V <br /> <br />Observation: The Council of Haldimand County requests Council's support to their March <br />10, 2003 resolution petitioning the Ministry of the Environment to reconsider the proposed <br />five-year phase-out of land application of untreated septage by further investigating, through <br />consultation with septage haulers, the current policy regarding the use of sewage lagoons and <br />land application of untreated septage. <br /> <br />13.
